Sunday September 11th, 2016 @ 3pm - Memfish

Meeting was held at Memfish as scheduled.  Various topics were discussed including a Q and A for current challenges faced by members.  Door Prize drawing was held for a $50 gift card to Memfish.  New member Sarah Mitchell was the winner.  Congratulations to Sarah! 

Sunday October 9th, 2016 @ 3pm - Red Sun Buffet 

Meeting was held at Red Sun Buffet in Bartlett.  We learned about how to make your own filter socks, a home made Aiptasia Zapper, more filter how-to's, home made two part supplement, and more.  We also had a frag raffle where we gave away more than a dozen frags, some food, and more.  Too many winners to list.

Sunday November 13th, 2016 @ 1pm - St Jude

This meeting will take place at St Jude Children's Hospital.  We will be touring the 3 reef tanks that Memfish maintains for the amusement of the children, parents and staff of STJ. This meeting is limited to members only and we will need RSVP's on a list to gain access and pass security checks. We have the option of meeting earlier at 1PM and having lunch in the STJ cafeteria as well.

Sunday December 11th, 2016 

This meeting was held at Mark Saslawsky's house.  Thanks to Mark and his wonderful wife for being amazing hosts.  We talked about Ich outbreaks and the treatment methods that have worked or haven't worked for all of us.  We also exchanged frags. 

This meeting will be held at David Rasmussen's house to view his amazing SPS tank and the tremendous success he has had with growth and coloration

Sunday February 12th, 2017 - at Dayson Flory's

We visited Dayson's large mixed reef tank and envied all the great frags he was growing out!  Many frags changed hands and his wife Ashley was a great co host!

Meet and greet with new management. Free fragging and repurposed medical supplies were given away along with donated supplies from Keenyan

Sunday January 28th 2018 at Desoto Aquatics

Brandon Philpot hosted at his new store in Southaven.  We discussed challenges we each had with our reef tanks and clean up crew preferences.  Discounted crabs, snails and starfish were purchased and some nice corals from DA were auctioned

Fish and Froth! We  had a few brews and apps, discussing how to destroy Aiptasia, growing SPS and errant test kits

Danny Keaton hosted us with refreshments, discounts on livestock and the ability to meet many of his regular clients and discuss our club and the benefits of belonging .

Jay Blundon showed us his recipe and method of creating his special fish food "chowder". We all went home with samples to feed our reef!

Bluff City Frag Fest!!!

Our first frag swap attracted over 130 reefers and 16 vendors from several states. Lots of great raffle and door prizes were given away and the variety of livestock was amazing!

Sunday August 20th, 2017

Held at Mark Saslawsky's house.  Michael and Connie Hanson from the Middle Tennessee Reef Club visited and discussed how their club was organized and the planning it takes to run their annual reef swap.  We distributed frags from our group buy and raffled off a few more

Sunday September 24th, 2017 1:30 PM at Jay Blundon's

We distributed our new club tee shirts, discussed the recent MACNA meeting in New Orleans. The Triton method was covered and the Exact iDip testing system was demonstrated.  Many frags were raffled off and Jay sold his fabulous frozen fish medley and reef chemicals.
